Whirlpool Regulation 2024
To access the whirlpool, these regulations and related waiver provided at check-in by the reception staff must be signed. Hotel Giorgione is not liable for any damage to property and/or people resulting from improper use of the whirlpool or violation of these regulations.
Pursuant to legal requirements, use of the whirlpool does not require lifeguard supervision. No staff will therefore be in charge of supervising guests using the whirlpool. Any staff present are there solely to hand out bathrobes/towels and meet any requests for refreshments.
The whirlpool must be reserved, and time slots are limited to a maximum of 30 minutes. After this time, guests must vacate the whirlpool so that it can be used by other guests. In the event of any delays, the available time will be reduced.
For safety and hygiene, a maximum of 9 guests are allowed to use the whirlpool at one time.
Whirlpool hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Guests from 0 to 8 years of age may access the whirlpool only from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and only if a parent, guardian or other person delegated in writing by the parent or guardian is present in the whirlpool together with the minors. In case of violation of these regulatory provisions, Hotel Giorgione is exempt from any damage caused by the minors to themselves and/or third parties.
Guests from 9 to 14 years of age may access the whirlpool only from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. under the supervision of a parent, guardian or other person delegated in writing by the parent or guardian. In case of violation of these regulatory provisions, Hotel Giorgione is exempt from any damage caused by the minors to themselves and/or third parties.
From 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. the whirlpool may only be used by guests of 14 years of age and older (provided that minors from 14 to 18 years of age are supervised by a parent, guardian, or other person delegated in writing by the parent or guardian).
The use of the whirlpool by individuals with reduced motor, sensory and/or cognitive abilities is allowed only in the presence of a companion in the whirlpool.
Only guests in perfect health are allowed to enter. Hotel Giorgione is released from any liability relating to guests with medical conditions for whom whirlpools are not recommended. Use of the whirlpool by pregnant women is prohibited. Use of the whirlpool is prohibited in cases of serious illness, acute diseases, acute and chronic respiratory failure, cardiovascular problems and some dermatological diseases. The whirlpool may not be used after consuming alcohol, drugs or medications that may induce drowsiness or alter blood pressure. People with capillary fragility are urged to limit the use of whirlpools, as it is contraindicated.
For reasons of hygiene, guests should not enter the whirlpool if they have wounds, abrasions, injuries or suspicious changes in the skin.
The whirlpool should be used at least 3 hours after consuming a meal.
The whirlpool must be entered with non-slip sandals and a bathing suit. Topless bathing and the use of underwear instead of swimwear is prohibited. For reasons of decorum, it is forbidden to pass through common areas of Hotel Giorgione in a bathing suit.
Guests must enter and exit the whirlpool using the steps provided.
Inflatables, sea floats, life jackets and children’s toys are prohibited.
Running at the edge of the whirlpool is prohibited.
Diving is prohibited.
The whirlpool is a place to relax, available to all hotel guests, and proper behaviour must therefore be observed. Noise or any conduct that may disturb other guests is prohibited.
The use of or access to electrical appliances and/or devices while in or near the whirlpool is prohibited.
No oil, bubble bath or personal hygiene products may be introduced into the whirlpool. Anyone using such products will be held responsible for any damage done to the whirlpool and/or themselves and/or individuals under parental responsibility and/or other guests.
It is not mandatory to wear a swim cap, but long hair should be tied up for reasons of hygiene.
Animals are prohibited.
Eating and drinking in the whirlpool is prohibited.
It is forbidden to consume outside food and drinks in the common areas of Hotel Giorgione.
The buttons are timed and have a duration of about 5 minutes. Please note that for medical reasons, it is not recommended to use whirlpool jets (showerheads, geysers, emotional waterfall) for more than 5 minutes.
The use of loungers, except those reserved for ‘Garden’ rooms, is left to the common sense and politeness of our guests. Please use the loungers with towels and/or bathrobes and do not occupy the loungers with towels or bathrobes unless you are present in the whirlpool area.
